Learning about Owls

imageimageimageimageimageimageimageIn our cross curricular work this term we have been finding out about nocturnal animals. Today we had owls in school to help us to find out even more. We were very exited and had  an amazing morning. We found out many more interesting facts and we even got to hold and touch a barn owl. Some children held the largest owl and the smallest. At the end of the morning the barn owl flew across the school hall!

Nocturnal animal investigation.

This week we decided to find out if nocturnal animals visited our school at night. We put out food that we knew these animals eat – cat food, berries, nuts, lettuce, carrots and fruit. We worked in groups to make a plate of food then put the food where we thought the animals would visit. Next day we went back and looked for evidence!image image image image image image image

Easter Production

imageimageimageimageimageWe watched a production which explained how Jesus would help us if needed help or had done something wrong. The characters were from Toy-story , Jessie ate the golden egg and thought she would have to leave the farm but Buzz Lightyear came to the rescue!
